LOUD AND CLEAR

The series "Loud and Clear" treats voice as something you practise rather than something you have, where every choice to speak, soften or stay quiet shapes how you perceive your place in this world. Created from a single source image, this collection pushes my process to its limits: how many different voices and visual expressions can one image hold, and release, without being completely lost to the change? Each artwork in "Loud and Clear" is loose in meaning and open to interpretation, which makes the title a bit of a paradox. To express oneself is one thing; to be understood is quite another.
