There was a time, not long ago in my art journey where I felt the need to please people, to put out gem after gem, to overwork myself just for the value and accreditation of others. It was particularly trying for me because I couldn't get that validation I sought, this created an abyss of burnouts and imposter syndromes, weakening my zeal and creativity as an artist. Do not chase this fame, rather strive to be ready for it when it inevitably comes. August, 2023.
