Some have asked about the purpose of this collection. A reasonable question. Purpose, after all, gives meaning to what we choose to preserve… and what we choose to transform. At its foundation, it begins with photography... something real, something observed. A captured moment, precise and honest. But I find reality alone… rather limiting. So it is altered. Refined. Reimagined. The photograph becomes merely the first course, a base layer upon which something more intricate is prepared. Texture, emotion, distortion… each element carefully introduced, not to obscure the truth, but to elevate it into something… more revealing... In this process, the image sheds its former life and acquires a new narrative.... A different story... A more intimate one.... Not what was seen… but what was felt...
