Through meditation on the passing of life Adyah learned the lessons of self-awareness. Death as a tool for wisdom runs through the House of Tulah and Adyah was the first Spirit to emerge. Training with this Spirit will allow a Monk to evolve into an Awakened, learning the lessons of self-awareness and honest speech. Evolution utility on a Monk can only be used once, Spirits collected on secondary market cannot be used to evolve a Monk into an Awakened.
