And Still, We Gather
At the center of it all is the Red Skull.
Held out before the crowd, it is not a threat, nor a warning. It is simply the truth; exposed, undeniable, and impossible to look away from.
The Red Skull is mortality made present. It reminds us that beneath everything we become, everything we build, everything we love, there is an ending waiting quietly beside us.
Around it, the world burns.
And still, we gather.
We come together beneath the same certainty. We love, laugh, create, celebrate, argue, dream and make meaning, even as the Red Skull reminds us that none of it can be kept forever.
It does not ask us to fear the end.
It asks us to look at it.
And once we do, perhaps the people beside us matter a little more. The moments become a little sharper. The absurdity becomes more beautiful. The ordinary becomes worth noticing.
The Red Skull remains.
The fire waits.
And still, we gather.
