Prism of the Firmament
Hearken, traveler!
For ages you have wandered,
Searching for light across the wide world,
Forgetting the priceless jewel
Carried within your own breast.
You are no dull earth,
O you, through whom the world is unveiled!
You are a prism—
A thousand-colored prism
Beneath the grand dome of the cosmos.
The thoughts within your mind
Shine upon the glass facets of your being.
Keep them pure and clear,
And the radiance of existence,
Passing through your colorful labyrinth,
Will cast your inner rainbow upon the earth,
Filling everything around you with wonder and grace.
Yet if the glass of your spirit grows murky and clouded,
You will no longer refract the living light,
And the world about you will fall into fear and shadow.
So wipe the dust from your glass and shine!
Let existence
Find its truest beauty
In the clarity of your light…
