An amazing day in the Maranjab desert. After years of traveling to this desert, I was able to photograph Damavand Mountain and its snowy peak from Maranjab Desert with a distance of more than 400 km. Damavand peak is located in the central part of Alborz mountain range in the south of the Caspian Sea and Larijan part of Amol city. Damavand Peak is the highest volcanic peak in Asia, as well as the highest peak in the mountains of Iran and the Middle East and the twelve highest peaks in the world. Its height is 5670 meters, which causes the temperature of Damavand peak to reach zero degrees in summer and 60 degrees below zero in winter. Damavand mountain in suitable weather conditions can be seen from most parts of Iran, even from the southern parts of Turkmenistan.
