This work was created with Van Gogh as a point of sensitivity rather than reference. Inspired by what he found beautiful in plants, and by what I find beautiful today, translated through my own root shapes and visual language. The palette carries his influence as I understand it, filtered through structure, geometry, and restraint. I wanted to express a moment of calm. A breath. A quiet break among works that usually carry heavier messages.
