Caravaggio is a reference for many artists and any reference to his style is easily recognized. This self portrait was an exercise I did at home during the pandemic. This piece is a reference to Saint Jerome in Meditation. Instead of the skull, one of Saint Jerome symbols, I used mirrors, a symbol you'll see throughout my work. In special, my grandmas old white mirror, which I carry with me to every photoshoot. This is my first self portrait in the blockchain, something I thought I'd never do, but, as time went by, I realized I could become an expression of my own art as well.
