I hate techology

One of the grandfather's of video art, Nam June Paik, first used electronic imagery in his 1963 landmark exhibition, "Exposition of Music—Electronic Television," held in the apartment gallery of Rolf Jährling in Wuppertal, Germany. In 1974, Paik first trained his video camera on a cheap buddha statuette that he bought on NYC's Canal Street and that simple act that recorded an endlessly looping staring contest, catapulted him to international art stardom. Even as a trailblazer merging the world's of art and tech throughout his career, decades ahead of his time—Paik's works still resonate with ever increasing impact—he never abandoned his ironic love/hate battle with the medium (nor his humor). Besides, there is a thin line that separates the two and i can only imagine Paik's stance would have been exacerbated by the blockchain, as anyone that has ever engaged would attest to.
