Alchemical Artifact #16 "The Inner Source"
The Inner Source explores the primordial relationship between water, consciousness, and the emergence of life. Suspended within a crystalline structure, a living current of turquoise water moves through the artifact, surrounding delicate organic forms that gradually reveal themselves as the gem turns.
Water becomes the first alchemical substance: the origin, the vessel, and the memory from which life emerges. Within its depths, the plants represent the intelligence of nature awakening from within matter, organic patterns taking form inside a seemingly mineral world.
The rotation of the artifact becomes a psychological journey inward. With every movement, another layer of its inner world is revealed, suggesting that what gives us life often exists beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered. The crystal acts as a metaphor for the psyche: structured, complex, reflective, and filled with hidden dimensions.
The contrast between geometric crystal and flowing water reflects two fundamental forces of the human experience: structure and surrender, consciousness and instinct, form and flow. The water moves freely through the rigid architecture, transforming it from an inert object into a living ecosystem.
At its center lies the idea of an inner source , the place within us where creativity, intuition, emotion, and life itself originate. Like water finding its way through stone, this inner force continuously seeks expression.
The Inner Source is a meditation on the hidden intelligence of life: the invisible current that moves beneath consciousness, nourishing everything that is ready to grow.
