Balbek is a one of one commissioned video work inspired by the ancient ruins of Baalbek in Lebanon. Created for Chris Abiaad, the piece reimagines the site through hacked diffusion algorithms, where fragments of memory, architecture, and time continuously dissolve and rebuild. The work exists somewhere between documentation and hallucination, treating the ruin not as something static, but as a living system that mutates, remembers, and forgets.
