This was not new, but it was a turning point. Around this time I started leaning into urban work properly. Sydney at night felt different to anything I had been shooting before. Less open space, more movement. Less stillness, more noise. It pushed me out of my comfort zone. I began walking the city after dark, letting the lights, reflections and passing people shape the frame. Neon against wet pavement, traffic lines cutting through the street, quiet corners hiding just metres from the rush. It was less about perfect composition and more about feeling the energy of it all. Looking back, this was the start of my urban chapter. A shift from wide landscapes into something more immediate and alive. The city taught me to move differently, to see differently, and to embrace the chaos instead of waiting for calm.
