In this installment of ‘Spectral Star Quest’ titled *A.S.I., from behind the control panel of our starship we discover the ethereal Aughostus. Aughostus reaches a new level of evolution in cosmic form, traversing the vast expanse of space as a mesmerizing star cluster. This multimedia project blends the realms of hand drawn digital art, 2D animation, 3D modeling, coding and interactive programming w/AI as a code assistant - to bring to life the enigmatic journey of Aughostus, exploring the connection between the universe and ourselves. Drawing inspiration from the eloquent words of Carl Sagan: "The cosmos is within us. We are made of star stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself." The creation process delves into the intricate dance of stars. Aughostus, embodies the essence of this profound concept which essentially becomes a celestial metaphor—an intricate constellation of interconnected points of light.
The inclusion of white sparkles punctuates the artwork, symbolizing moments of profound realization and self-discovery within the cosmic journey. These sparkles, like the stars themselves, encapsulate the idea that we are intricately woven into the fabric of the universe—a part of the cosmic dance, an embodiment of the stars.
As viewers engage with A.S.I., they are encouraged to reflect on their own place in the cosmos. The interplay of light and motion invites contemplation of our connection to the universe and the shared destiny we hold with the stars. Aughostus, as the spectral guide through this space odyssey, beckons us to embrace the beauty of the cosmic dance within and beyond ourselves.
