Stuck on Repeat
Procession of Dawn
The composition unfolds like a metaphysical triptych: at the top, a procession of figures holds hands beneath a cosmic eye, an emblem of collective consciousness, vigilance, or divine witness. Below, a solitary figure crosses an oceanic field, its footprints merging into the blue. Between them, the sun rises or sets, connecting the collective and the solitary, the visible and the invisible.
The palette, rust, gold, and deep indigo, evokes both twilight and dawn, the eternal oscillation between wakefulness and oblivion. The eye, suspended within this liminal band of color, becomes the axis of perception: the viewer and the observed, the mirror and the void.
On an emotional level, the work presents itself as a meditation on individuality within the collective, the tension between belonging and isolation, between cosmic order and personal wandering. This work captures the paradox of existence: we journey together under the same gaze, and yet each step is unique to us.
