Chinatown Produce Vendors
Sunday, October 5 was a beautiful day in New York, and I had a couple hours free midday so I went out for a photo walk around Chinatown with my Ricoh GR. I walked down Canal Street from the A train at Spring Street looking for interesting scenes and bubble tea. As I approached Mulberry Street on Canal I noticed the brightly colored umbrellas of the vendors on either side of the narrow street, with dramatic lighting from the sun. I thought that it might make a cool photograph to capture the movement of people crossing Mulberry Street in front of the vendors. I waited until the light changed and then I quickly walked into Canal Street before the cars began to move, and I took this shot.
