Edge of the world
The horrifying self; the beautiful one
The mirror takes him to the midst of two worlds, and there he sees another self of himself. He finds no trace of what existed in this world within him, yet it was beautiful.
All its beauty was an image that had terrified him in the other world for centuries.
A strange delicacy that no longer resided in a body, seeking nothing, and its formlessness in the light frightened tangible existence.
How had he lived all those years away from it? Now he desired it and wanted to be within it.
