Body in negative

A body suspended between light and shadow unfolds as a territory of memory. The inversion of the negative transforms the skin into a lunar surface, where time has left traces of rust, stains, and chromatic scars. The pictorial gestures—orange, blue, and red strokes—emerge as vital signs that resist wear, reminding us that the flesh is also canvas and archive. The figure, stretched out in tension, oscillates between vulnerability and strength, between presence and phantasm. The work invites us to contemplate the body not only as form, but as a trace, a map of absences and persistences inscribed in the material of the image.
