my works 1/1
body in ruin
This work delves into a disturbing duality: the softness of human skin intertwined with the roughness of time-worn wood. The body, fragmented and almost sculptural, seems to merge with the cracks and peeling paint, evoking a skin that also bears the scars of history. The superposition of textures transforms the figure into a territory, a map of vulnerability and resistance. The composition plays with the tension between the ephemeral nature of the body and the eternal nature of matter, reminding us that both—flesh and wood—erode, but in doing so reveal their own beauty.
