No way back to this garden
Petals Fall Silent
No way back to this garden. Romanticism in the era of AI. This collection arose from a desire to create something new and unusual about flowers. AI was an absolutely essential way to create intriguing photorealistic and surreal pieces. So, welcome to my abstract garden, where petals are infused with emotions.
Combining my original paintings with my photos of flowers through AI, I created fascinating textures that are both realistic and surreal. This is what inspires me when using AI tools: the endless possibilities of textures that are truly hard to achieve with other mediums. And actually, what flowers represent to me—so abundant and flourishing, full of life and joy, yet losing their beauty so quickly and fading rapidly...
The structure of the collection is built on the basis of pairs. I'm fascinated with the symbolism of the number two—on one hand, it represents the contradiction of opposites, and on the other, their unity. There are so many fundamental dualities: light/darkness, male/female, yes/no, up/down, left/right. These dualities are common in human approaches to the world because of our preference for two-valued logic. Some pairs of still artworks were named to highlight their differences, while in other cases, to show how they complement each other.
