"OMI KÀNGA" translated from Yorùbá means "water well". The well is symbolic with rebirth and revitalization, for where there is a well, there is water and there is also life. In this piece, the well is more or less a metaphor for what gives me sustenance as I continue to embark on this creative journey of creating and exploring the w0rlds in my mind. This piece is a reminder that the people that surround me, especially my family, continue to give me life and hope, and the strength continue on my journey despite the many challenges I face.
