In Virus, something small and almost invisible begins to spread. The animation moves through dark, microscopic spaces filled with strange particles and forms, until one of my creatures appears, breathing out a long, fluid shape. It is difficult to know where the creature ends and the virus begins. The work is about the way something we cannot see can enter a body, take it over, and change its world completely. Virus is part of They Live, a collection in which I animate characters and fragments from my paintings by hand, without using AI.
