Bitter Truths
Third Eye
THIRD EYE
Beyond what we see, lies what we refuse to understand.
A silent witness to the fragile boundary between life and death, innocence and decay, consciousness and oblivion. The figure sits suspended in a desolate world, carrying an eye where the heart should be, as if perception itself has replaced the soul.
Beneath her, skulls and the black raven stand as reminders of mortality, while her gaze turns toward something beyond the visible world. She is both alive and lifeless, human and something else, trapped between the body she inhabits and the truth she may have awakened to.
The third eye is not a promise of enlightenment. It is the burden of seeing what can never be unseen.
A surrealist meditation on consciousness, mortality, and the unsettling cost of awakening.
