In the studio I dip my brush into both the light and the darkness because the world never gives you just one side to paint from. Some days I have to let myself feel a little crazy so the work can breathe wild and honestly. Other days I have to become the biggest hippie in the room just to push love back into a world that feels heavy. We sit in our own space surrounded by noise, memories, and feelings until they stick to us and become the message on the canvas.
