I was at an event honoring the day of the dead my Brother Muhammad Muhaymin was featured in ; I felt the spirits speak through my lens as the sacred dance occurred on sacred land . In the moment of silence and only the drums and sacred dance speaking honor and remembrance to those lost on this land. Poem for this piece -"flames of memory dance through time each step is a prayer, each blur of light a spirit carried forward. Between the motion and stillness, culture breathes-ancestral voices echo, reminding us that art is not just seen, it is felt.
