Neural Reliquary 2025

In 2025, my attention felt like a sacred space under siege. Feeds pulsed faster than thought, memory arrived in fragments, and identity became something continuously rendered, revised, and compressed. This work imagines that pressure as a techno cathedral, a place where belief is built from data and devotion is measured in signal. Please turn on volume for full experience At the center is a skull not as death, but as a relic of consciousness. Inside it, orbiting light behaves like an artificial halo, part astronomy and part circuitry, a mind turned into a navigational interface. Around it, stained glass becomes a living user interface, icons drifting like prayers in a corrupted file system. The piece is both shrine and warning: the spiritual hunger is real, but the altar keeps changing. My process blends AI generated imagery with digital collage techniques and glitch intervention, treating distortion as an emotional truth rather than an error. I use rupture, pixel bleed, and synthetic light to reveal what the year leaves behind in the nervous system: awe, fatigue, longing, and a strange hope that we can still choose what we worship. I want the image to linger like an afterimage, asking the viewer what 2025 wrote into them, and what they are ready to reclaim.

Artwork Overview

Neural Reliquary 2025 is a visual/audio (volume up) techno-spiritual glitch collage created specifically for Reflections 2025, the open call presented by Visceral Glitch in collaboration with Webbie Social. The piece frames the year as a digital reliquary, where memory, identity, and belief are constantly re-rendered under pressure from the feed.
