NO EXIT FUNCTION
No Hill
Sisyphus without the hill.
A figure pushes a cube toward the horizon until it leaves the frame. The world is finite, so it comes back from the opposite edge — the same block, returned the long way around. He walks to meet it, turns, and pushes it back the other way. Forever.
Nothing here is keyframed. The block accelerates under the push and decays under constant friction, timed so it comes to rest exactly at his hands. The walk is no-slip: feet plant in world space, the stride lengthens with speed, the hips drop as far as the stride demands. The second half of the animation is the exact mirror of the first — which is what closes the loop. The seam is a property of the construction rather than something tuned by eye, and it is measurably the quietest transition in the piece.
Python, 300 frames of drawn vectors. No footage, no textures, no colour.
