Manisfestus I & II

Manifuestos emerges from a study of words drawn from ancient cultures ,terms whose meanings span the full arc of a journey, from its first impulse to its final resolution. These words were translated into numbers and physical formulas, generating vibrations and waveforms that took shape as musical notes. Together, these formulas produced the visual patterns within the image, while the accompanying sound is the combined resonance of all of them sounding at once. The flower appears as the work's closing image, the metaphorical endpoint of a journey that begins in pure vibration. The photograph was taken through water, allowing that originating vibration to leave its trace on the surface of the image itself.
