The figure stands looking towards the viewer. What are they witnessing that we can’t ? While we’re still confined to a single color plane, the illusion seems to deepen. “M” is louder, more charged, but it’s still only part of the picture. A signal in a system that will eventually burn its fragments into a single, irreversible image. The mirage sharpens, but the truth remains out of frame.
