How the token works
Total supply is 1,000,000 $BRUT, split into two halves. 500,000 are already assigned to the holders of the BRUTAL FAM TOKEN — 52 pieces collected at $300 — in proportion to how many tokens each one holds, from 1 to 3. 500,000 are tied to this edition: 400 works × 1,250 $BRUT. The DAO starts from zero. It holds no tokens.
What it's for
$BRUT is the currency of an ecosystem built around the distribution of my work — on OpenSea, on Transient Labs, and directly from my site. Whoever holds it can spend part of it to access future projects: for free, in exclusive, or at a reduced price. The spent token goes to the DAO wallet. That's how the DAO sustains itself: when the circulating supply runs out, it will be the DAO putting it back into circulation, and the system continues.
How to use it
From the site. You connect your wallet with MetaMask, sign, see your supply, and choose how much of it to transfer for the access you want.
What it isn't
$BRUT is not for profit and is not meant for trading. I personally will never hold any. In this BETA version the token lives inside the site. It may be launched as an ERC-20, but without changing its nature. Exchange happens through the art: by selling a BRUTAL FAM TOKEN — or a MACCHINA — all the supply it holds passes to the new owner. I don't rule out direct exchange between users in the future. But one step at a time.
