KILONOVA is a collection of 101 unique generative artworks depicting the most violent and beautiful events in the known universe. Kilonova explosions and galaxy collisions. Every piece in this collection was written entirely in code. Each artwork is produced by a custom mathematical algorithm that calculates light, energy, dust shells, stellar jets, and star fields from a single seed number, the token ID itself. Change the seed, and the entire universe shifts. Kilonovas are real. When two neutron stars collide, they produce an explosion so powerful it forges heavy metals including all the gold on Earth. Every piece of gold you have ever touched came from an event like this. KILONOVA captures that moment.

HOW IT'S MADE

A single HTML file. No external servers. No cloud rendering. No AI. Each artwork begins with one number, the token ID. A deterministic hash function converts it into a unique set of parameters. From there, every shell, every jet, every star is calculated, not drawn. A 1200×1200 canvas is then rendered pixel by pixel using fractal Brownian motion, exponential decay, and radial gradient mathematics. Diffraction spikes, glow layers, and star fields are composited on top using screen blending. Every pixel is a number. Every number is mathematics. The same seed will always produce the same artwork. Forever.
