On November 17, 2023, I released a 4-piece showcase on joyn, which focused on combining technical diagrams with an almost abstract landscape/floral illustrations. (My main inspiration for the project came from geological surveys published by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), specifically the way such diagrams offer a visual journey into how we view land). The project subsequently expanded into Hitomebore, further exploring how these two elements could form a new way of representing my love for landscapes. The project encompasses 24 color palettes alongside a combination of 120 unique lines, diagrams, cross-sections, plans, and perspectives. Following the closure of foundation, looking back and reflecting on those pieces made me feel that they didn't fully capture the breadth of what this body of work was intended to be. Hence, I have decided to continue the collection and at the same time bring it to a close. Hitomebore Act II / Finale is a curated release of 30 pieces that represent what the project truly means to me, and I look forward to sharing it with you again.
