Returning home after another long day in the gold mines. Gold [Ghost] Mine is a creative landscape photograph of historic mining cabins near Ouray, Colorado, captured during the fall and brought back to life through hours of hand editing. These cabins have long since gone dark, but standing among them, I couldn’t stop imagining this place in its prime. The windows glowing against the cold mountain night, smoke rising from the chimneys, and a lone miner making his way home beneath the moonlight. For a moment, the ghost town lives again.
