Concept
A dark-skinned masculine figure stands in quiet contemplation as clusters of blossoms emerge from his back, shoulders, and neck. The flowers seem to take root beneath the skin before unfurling into the open air, blurring the boundary between body and nature. The back becomes the focal point of transformation—a place where burdens are often carried, yet here it becomes the very ground from which new life emerges. Rather than depicting struggle, Efflorescence captures the peaceful moment after endurance, when growth begins to reveal itself.
