I wanted to create something for Halloween; something darker than what I usually paint. I’m used to bold, vibrant colors, so facing pure black and white felt strange, almost uncomfortable. But that’s what I love about art. It makes you face what scares you. This piece captures that haunting stillness when color disappears. It’s about fear, silence, and what’s left when the light fades. Simple at first glance, but full of meaning.
