“THE JOURNEY”Storytelling Collection through my lens
Carrying Home
Some people travel with luggage.
Some travel with memories.
And some of us
carry home on our backs.
I watched this figure walk
between the sea and the shore,
covered in colors that looked
like pieces of different stories
stitched together.
Perhaps that is what life is
a collection of places
we have survived,
people we have loved,
and versions of ourselves
we have had to leave behind.
The ocean keeps moving.
So do we.
No map.
No promise.
Just another step.
Maybe the destination
was never the point.
Maybe the journey
was teaching us
that even when everything changes,
there are parts of home
we never stop carrying.
And so,
they walked.
Not away from where they came from,
but toward wherever
their story was waiting to become
something new.
