The BrAIn traces series plays with pictures evoking the brain as seen through medical imaging techniques., but distorted and vanishing in pixels. The fascination for the brain, cognitive sciences and neurology feeds dreams, expectations and chimeras. AI stands in an indefinable world between science, algorithms and fairy. AI results mimic brain functions and we are glad to get caught by these chimeras. The power of conviction has always been stronger than truth. This series is a mise en abyme of AI in poetic visuals.
