Oil on printed advertisement for kitchen supply, painted in 2002. This small painting grew out of a coffee cup and came together almost instantly. As often in my work, the image was already there: the red 3 suggests the model type, the biscuits become the indicators, and the cup handle forms the famous Hofmeister kink. The BMW appears less invented than discovered within an ordinary minimalistic kitchen scene.
