Each Token a Physical Gem “Art conveys an honest and impersonal view of societal perceptions, encouraging viewers to connect the wisdom of antiquity with modern complexities in the most direct way possible.” Alberto Balloca Alberto Ballocca’s artistic journey continues to flourish, with his latest works reflecting a deeper dive into ancient philosophies, natural patterns, and the exploration of human perception. Over the past year, his art has reached new heights, as pieces have been acquired by private collectors across the globe, and his exhibitions, including a prominent solo show in Bei jing Province, have drawn critical acclaim. Yet, even as his profile rises internationally, Ballocca remains firmly rooted in his exploration of timeless themes, using his art to illuminate the intersections of antiquity, nature, and contemporary life. Among his recent achievements, Ballocca has turned his focus toward uncovering the hidden connections between language, symbols, and existence. Drawing inspiration from Plato’s philosophical texts and ancient hieroglyphs, he has developed a unique “personal grammar” that defies the rules of traditional language. By creating and employing symbolic elements, he connects the essence of ancient knowledge with modern artistic expression. These elements find their way into his works not only as visual components but as conceptual frameworks that engage the viewer in a dialogue about the nature of perception and meaning.
Nurtured Between Art & Language
As a contemporary professional artist, I identify myself with my own models, so I realize how difficult and fundamentally impossible it is to give up one’s identity in order to leave the task of understanding it to other people; through my work, inner meanings and energy speak to another human being without me being different from what I desire to create or perform in that specific work I showcase. When I describe my process, each sentence, almost each word, story and emotion generate a series of indeterminate psychic manifestations that lead very far from the work in itself, often, as I talk about It, each abstraction summarizes my experience as it has been nurtured between Art and language. Art is the only medium that convey an honest as well as impersonal view of societal perceptions, differently from science or music, it encourages viewers to connect wisdom of antiquity with modern complexities on the most direct way possible. Specialized in diachronic approaches on ancient cultures and natural patterns, synchronized with Natural powers, when I get in touch with my daemon, I jump through a leap of perception, finding the core element of my egoic commutations. Those necessary and apparently meaningless conceptual puzzles, such as Egyptian hieroglyphic ones, are comparable to those needs we have to translate everyday life experiences into comunication systems and, somehow, can explain how and why human beings began to write, regardless of why we had to start writing to communicate something in relation to merely administration necessities. As molecules commutate various and complex types of plants, messages, graphical signs, generate letters and comunication systems.
