-*๐๐ฟ๐ชT๐ช๐ป ๐ขT๐ช+๐ฎ*- There was a time when a profile picture was simply a photo. Web3 changed that. Somewhere between the first mint and the first conversation, our PFPs stopped being images and became identities. They became the faces people recognized before they ever knew our real names. They carried our personalities, our stories, our humor, our struggles, and our art into every space we entered. This piece is my interpretation of that transformation. The layers of faces, masks, skulls, graffiti, and color represent a community built one artist at a time. Every mark is another personality. Every layer is another story. Nothing covers what came before it. Everything grows from it, just as our community has grown through every artist who has shared their work. As artists, we started creating avatars, but over time those avatars became a part of us. They gave us the freedom to express ourselves without limits. Some became heroes. Some became villains. Some became dreamers. Every one of them became unforgettable. Our PFPs became more than artwork. They became symbols of the people we were becoming. They gave us the confidence to create, collect, collaborate, and build friendships with people we may never meet in person but somehow know through the art they share. To me, this piece is a portrait of the Web3 art community. It is chaotic, colorful, imperfect, and constantly evolving. Every face belongs to someone searching for their own voice while helping others discover theirs. We never stopped being ourselves. We simply found a community that inspired us to show the world who we really were. "We didn't hide behind our PFPs. We finally introduced ourselves." โ AKA Chambo
