You've seen people posting about NFTs on Robinhood, opened the app looking for a "create" button, and found nothing.
You didn't miss it. It's not there — but you're not far off either.
Robinhood vs. Robinhood Chain
Robinhood is the brokerage app — stocks, ETFs, crypto trading. There's no NFT minting in it, and there never has been.
Robinhood Chain is something else entirely: a public, permissionless Layer 2 that launched mainnet on July 1, 2026, built on Arbitrum's Orbit stack. Anyone can deploy a contract to it. It runs independently of your Robinhood brokerage account, and Robinhood doesn't approve or curate what gets built there.
That's the chain you actually mint on. And that's the one Transient supports.
What you'll need
A wallet that supports Robinhood Chain — Robinhood Wallet works out of the box, or add the network to MetaMask
Some ETH on the chain for gas, bridged over via the canonical Arbitrum bridge
Your artwork, ready to go
That's it. No Solidity, no deploy scripts, no building a mint page from scratch.

Minting on Transient, step by step
Connect your wallet.
Head to The Lab, click "Connect Wallet," and sign in. Fill in your username, display name, and email.
Create your contract.
From the contract dashboard, hit "Create New Contract." Select Robinhood Chain as your blockchain, name your contract, choose a token symbol, and pick a contract type — ERC-721TL for 1/1s, ERC-1155TL for editions, or ERC-7160 for dynamic multi-creation work.
Set your options.
Royalties, royalty recipient, Blocklist, Story Inscriptions. Then deploy.
Mint your first token.
Open your contract, click "Create New Token," and fill in the title, description, and media. Add attributes and tags so people can find it.
Preview and send.
Check everything, then hit "Send Transaction."
Your contract is creator-owned the whole way through. It's yours, not ours — and not Robinhood's.
Is it the right chain for you?
Robinhood Chain is new, and the crowd there right now skews speculative. If you want the deepest pool of collectors who are there specifically for art, Ethereum mainnet is still that place, with Base close behind.
But if you want cheap, fast mints on a network with a lot of fresh attention pointed at it, this is a good moment to be early.
Explanation for beginners: Picking a chain is like picking where to open a gallery. Sometimes you want the established arts district. Sometimes you want the neighborhood everyone just started talking about.
You can mint on all of them from The Lab. Start creating →
