About IAM : Waves Within
This collection explores the profound journey of IAM — the inner creation of selfhood that shapes and aligns with outer reality. Inspired by my past Redthread Vision series, which visualized the invisible connections between humans through nature and technology, IAM turns inward. It reveals how the invisible threads of inner truth, identity, and presence weave together to form our external world. The works move from the emergence of identity, through connection, evolution, and transformation, illustrating how the inner world shapes and reflects our reality. This exploration invites viewers to reflect on their own inner threads and become aware of the powerful, unseen forces that shape who we are and what we attract.
About the artist
June Kim, based in Los Angeles, is a Korean-American artist and design director who explores invisible threads weaving humans, nature, and technology. Inspired by the ancient Redthread of destiny, she merges sculpture, installation, 3D and AI to create immersive experiences that blur the line between physical and digital. Her data-driven human network sculptures debuted at Miami Basel, with AI media art films shown at Seoul Frieze, Saatchi Gallery London, and the Paris AI Action Summit. Having worked with global brands like Apple and Samsung France, her work reveals unseen connections shaping our world.
