Dandelion

"Dandelion" is a generative art project. It is an interactive token that allows the user to creatively explore form, growth dynamics, and color palettes. Through intuitive gestures—such as circular mouse movements or single clicks—the user influences the organic development of the structure, creating a unique visual composition each time. The entire piece is written in JavaScript using the p5.js. The growth logic is based on recursive functions, trigonometric transformations, and smooth interpolations that generate symmetrical, fractal-like structures reminiscent of a blooming dandelion. All interactions are calculated in real time, giving the user the impression of a living form that responds to touch. How it works: Start making circular movements with your mouse to expand and transform the pattern. Depending on the intensity of your rotations, the pattern will shift more dynamically or slowly. The more you rotate the mouse, and the more intensely you do it, the bigger and richer your Dandelion will become. You can also color your Dandelion in one of four colors at any time, and switch between them freely. Stop moving the mouse to return to the original state. Click once with the left mouse button and your Dandelion will freeze in its current form. To return to editing mode, double-click the left mouse button. Try also clicking the "BA" button when your Dandelion is expanded - watch it blow away and be replaced by a new one. neuralartistry.art | created 2025
